I aquired Polly from GSD welfare after the sudden loss of my first shepherd (Elwood). Polly was a bit of a naughty girl having got through 3 previous owners. Now 3 and a half years old I decided it was time for Polly to learn some manners, so I took her along to my local GSD training club.
After 2 months the training club held their annual exemption show, so we went aquiring a first and a second place thus the story begins...............
Polly excelled in obedience going from beginners to the advanced course within 3 months much to my amazement. She repeatedly won every progress test, matches and inter club matches. The clubs main event which combined obedience, agility and breed is held annually with all club members competing. Polly won this the first year and has since won it 3 more times and has been runner up twice. Polly has also competed at exemption and open obedience shows never being out of the cards. Pollys agility career ended abruptly following a dislocated shoulder after an incident with another shepherd who forgot to brake!!
